There have recently been several thefts from vehicles on Langford Village where thieves have been targeting lap-tops and sat nav systems.

So we recommend that you remove any such items from your cars when they are not in use.

The thieves do know which cars to target, as they can detect electrical appliances inside a vehicle with an instrument they often carry.

An unfamiliar vehicle was seen in the vicinity of the thefts, described as a silver sports saloon with an \'X\' as the first digit on the number plate, possibly not a UK plate.
